A tip of the hat to HurrikanEagle, who sent me this video.
For those who don’t recognize him, Joss Whedon directed this year’s blockbuster film, The Avengers, and created the critically acclaimed TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Firefly. The video is, obviously, geared to the audience Whedon knows so well.
That said, I think it’s clever and a wonderful way to talk about abstract political issues like corporate privilege and the social safety net.

I don’t think this is going to sway any undead voters unfortunately. In fact I asked Senator John McCain’s office if this would hold any sway with the undead that he knows so well and they did not give me back a comment other than “brainsssssssssssss”.
I do thing it is a cunning video aimed at the under 30 vote however.

Wow, Sen. McCain is still shambling around? I thought they’d locked him in at 30 Rock and only shuttle him back and forth between the sets of Sunday morning talk shows….

I hope this convinces the younger voters. I’m not a zombie fan. I did get the irony and sarcasm and liked that. My sister was ROFLMAO. She knows more about zombies than I do.
