Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Will this ad resonate with undecided voters?

Midday Matinee – Tuesday’s Tale: The Tech Geek Cometh
I think this is an amazing ad. Personal, direct, honest, and real. Stories like this highlight the problems with Romney’s 47% comments. I was also touched to see that people sometimes go out and give their garbage collectors bottles of water or Gatorade. Little gestures like that make our world more beautiful … and comments like Romney’s make it uglier.
I saw this ad earlier and I think it will definitely resonate with anyone who has ever been in a city with a garbage strike for sure. Think NYC with drifts of black bags along the curb and you will quickly appreciate the job this man does. I liked the dig about the car elevator.
There are so many ads coming out that I hope a couple of the pro-obama ones will resonate with each of the independent voters. Hard for me to tell.
The people I talk to who say they are undecided are most elderly, as in their 80′s and 90′s . I suspect they may be too polite to say they don’t want to share their vote but they do listen and occasionally we have a bit of a conversation.
They mostly like to talk about how much they like medicare.
Yes, I think it’ll strike a cord. Mitt has a real problem in that he’s seen as not being able to connect with ordinary people. The juxtaposition of his garbageman and his statement about the 47% just hammers that home.
Social chatter: If you haven’t guessed, I made it out of the oral surgeon’s today. Tomorrow morning (very early) I have to be at the dentist’s office to get this plate adjusted. It really needs it.
Glad to hear that you survived the oral surgery, Norbrook. I hope they can adjust your plate so that it is more comfortable. I hope they gave you some pain meds so you can heal in relative obliviousness.
Thank you for the update on your oral surgery, Norbrook. I’m sure you’ll need some adjustments along the way. Try to rest and please keep us posted.
