Campus Question – April 18, 2012

Tonight’s question, greetings, and social banter here. (More)

Tonight’s Campus Question
Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has been dogged by family car trip issues, even if Ann Romney says the dog loved it. Now the doggone issue is back with the Romney campaign pushing news that President Obama was sometimes fed dog meat when he lived in Indonesia from ages 6-10. Will this issue sit, stay, or roll over?

Romney Dog Subtext: “I may be rich and maybe mean to dogs, but at least I’m an American.”

The Romney dog message isn’t really about what a 6- to 10-year-old child ate while living in Indonesia. The Romney message is that President Obama lived in Indonesia as a child, unlike All-American Mitt. And the Foreigner Obama vs. All-American Mitt message will definitely stay alive through the rest of the election season.

I do wonder what Romney ate when he was on his mission in France, living in a mansion with his own private chef? I’ve eaten some strange things in France. I have Julia Child cookbook food French and there were items I didn’t recognize.

How sad that these hung-ho real Americans are so culturally isolated.

Cattle rustlers are caught using an unmanned predator drone. It is like high tech takes on the wild west. It made is safer for law enforcer to apprehend them once the drone spotted them and confirmed the rustlers were unarmed.

    • Gardener Says:

Ha! I first read that to mean the rustlers had the drone, and were using it to steal the cattle. What’s wrong with me??
