It’s Friday the 13th, a factor Kim Jong Un might have considered before his missile test. Rumors that Newark Mayor Cory Booker and the BPI Squirrel played roles in the North Korean failure may be exaggerated, but less so than presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney telling the NRA that President Obama created new laws “to burden lawful gun owners.” Is Romney making up lies about gun control because Americans favor President Obama’s proposed Buffett Rule by a 60-37 margin? |

Romney forgot to shake the etch-a-sketch. This is the current lie about the Buffet rule. Kevin Hassett, an economic policy adviser to Mitt Romney, told the Financial Times

The lie there is that his implicit claim that Democrats think the Buffett Rule, alone, will solve the problem. We don’t. The Buffett Rule is one pellet of what Jonathan Foley called “silver buckshot.”

He keeps making up lies, because the media lets him get away with it! There’s only one problem he has to run against the real President Obama, not the fantasy one that the right has presented to this country. I saw CNN had a poll that showed Romney has the highest unfavorable rating that has ever been nominated by his party.
