I cackled my head off at the sign about the unattended children. I also adored the birds, a definite awwww, as well as the cat rolled up in the newspaper.
All of these are great! Thanks so much, tricia, for all the work you put in to bring us these laffs.
My vet’s office has that same sign in their lobby. Much to Kidlet’s chagrin, she does not qualify as a child (she’s 15 and 5’10″), and we have never left her alone there – she wants a puppy. We told her once we build the house we will consider it.
Who am I kidding – once the house is built, we will have one. Just hope the cats can handle it.

I think the cats will handle a puppy just fine.
They’ll teach him. But be sure to get a puppy so he listens.

Whatever it is, it will be a rescue or from a shelter. That’s a must in this house.
